About me
I have 17+ years experience in Geography education and my current role is subject adviser and curriculum lead for the largest MAT in the UK, United Learning. I regularly consult for different exam boards and support several schools across England beyond our group.
I'm a member of the Secondary Phase Comittee at the Geographical Association and an active member of the wider Geography community.
I am an experienced curriculum writer and have designed and lead training programmes across dozens of secondary schools for Geography ITT, ECT and more experienced teachers on topics ranging from:
- New to Geography teaching.
- Implementing T&L strategies in the Geography classroom (TLAC, Rosenshine Principles).
- Effective Geography department and humanities faculty leadership.
- Planning and leading educational fieldwork.
