About me
I am a curriculum consultant with a passion for helping schools design ambitious, knowledge-rich content that enables all children to thrive, and gives teachers the clarity, tools and confidence to deliver. As co-founder of the Primary Knowledge Curriculum, now used by 400+ schools and 100,000+ pupils, I support educational design and implementation at scale in many primary subjects including geography. Contributing to national policy through DfE consultations on EYFS reforms, T Levels and NPQs, I have worked with organisations including Pearson, The Key, Developing Experts and the Knowledge Schools Trust. Alongside consultancy, I also train PGCE students at United Learning, teaching primary science, history and geography and support the delivery of teacher education programmes across London and Manchester. I have recently written a book for primary geography leaders with Bloomsbury entitled 'How to Lead it; Primary Geography' which will be published in September 2025. I believe curriculum is the engine of school improvement, and when it is thoughtfully designed and well taught, it can transform outcomes for children and staff alike. The primary geography curriculum offers all children, particularly those who experience disadvantage, an opportunity to connect to the changing world around them and become active participants in shaping the future.
