About me
Jen Davies is the Programme Officer for Yorkshire and the Humber for the National Education Nature Park. Jen has worked within education for many years, specialising in Special Educational Needs and trauma-informed practice. Prior to joining the Nature Park, Jen was an Alternative Provision lead in a SEMH high school, establishing an Alternative Provision pathway for students that struggled with typical classroom-based learning. Jen then became a Forest School leader and has supported children from the age of 6 months to 17 years to reconnect with nature, supporting the improvement of wellbeing across all ages, encouraging young people to care for the natural world and empowering young people to be the agents of change.
