About me
I graduated with a BA Hons in Geography from Lancaster University in 2016 and soon after moved to New York City, where I studied Geography of Art at NYU. After returning to the UK, I spent six years in Events Management, travelling globally to deliver high-profile conferences in Aviation Leasing and Finance with leading international companies.
Eventually, I pursued my long-standing ambition to teach by completing a PGCE at Staffordshire University. I now lead the Geography department at Co-Op Academy Florence MacWilliams in Stoke-on-Trent, where I am committed to inspiring young people to see the world differently. Alongside teaching, I am an active member of the North Staffordshire GA branch and a passionate advocate for decolonising the geography curriculum. I am also currently studying for a Masters in Education at Staffordshire University.
Outside of the classroom, I am an avid traveller and hiker, always seeking new landscapes to explore. I am also a qualified Pilates instructor, teaching both Matwork and Reformer Pilates on weekends.
