About me
The title of this study is Developing a Climate Education Program Utilizing AI Tools to Foster Learner Agency. The purpose of this study is to develop a climate education program that strengthens learner agency through the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Addressing the climate crisis requires more than the acquisition of knowledge; it necessitates that learners actively recognize problems, explore possible solutions, and put them into practice. Accordingly, this study applies AI-based learning support tools (e.g., generative AI, simulations, data analysis tools) to design a program that enables learners to investigate the causes and consequences of climate change, analyze diverse scenarios, and independently design sustainable alternatives. The study presents both the design of this program and the results of its implementation.
